Reagan McDonald, DVM Medical Director and Managing Partner
Dr. McDonald has been caring for pets across Florida’s Suncoast since earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2010. With experience in both emergency medicine and general practice, she has found her true passion in building long-term relationships with clients and their pets. She is also certified in veterinary acupuncture, which allows her to take a more integrative approach to patient care.
Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. McDonald spent many years in the IT field, ultimately deciding to follow her lifelong passion for animals, a reminder she loves to share: it’s never too late to do what you love.
When she’s not in the hospital, Dr. McDonald enjoys traveling or relaxing in the Florida sunshine with her husband and their four dachshunds.
Fun Fact: Dr. McDonald has traveled to more than 16 countries, and the list keeps growing!
Jennifer Atchley Practice Manager
Jennifer moved from New Jersey to Florida to pursue a lifelong dream, though she’ll always be a Jersey girl at heart. With over 16 years in the veterinary field, Jennifer has worked in a wide range of clinical and leadership roles, including CSR, Assistant, Technician, Lead, and Reception Supervisor.
Jennifer is passionate about building a positive, knowledgeable, and collaborative team culture and believes every team member plays a vital role in a hospital’s success. Her professional interests include dentistry and exploratory surgeries. Jennifer is a proud member of the Veterinary Hospital Manager Association (VHMA) and is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and making memories with her husband and daughter, especially at Disney. At home, she loves cooking and spending time with her two dogs, Nala the Chiweenie and Romeo the Yorkshire Terrier.
