Meet Our Doctor
Dr. McDonald has been working in the Florida Suncoast region since graduating from Texas A&M University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010. She has worked in both emergency medicine and general practice, but she prefers the client/patient relationships she is able to build in a general practice setting. She has also become certified in veterinary acupuncture, allowing her to take a more integrative approach to her cases. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. McDonald worked in the IT field for many years before deciding to pursue her passion for animals, and one of her favorite mottos is that it is never too late to do what you love. During her time off, Dr. McDonald loves spending time with her husband and four dachshunds while traveling or just enjoying the Florida sunshine.
Fun Fact: Dr. McDonald has visited over 16 countries and is still counting!
